I just got this game yesterday and so far, it seems okay. I think this game is probably NOT as exciting for the adult crowd. I have an art background and I was disappointed with the color choices and designs in this game. I'm not sure how far into the game I am.....but I would definitely like more choices for the hardwood flooring OR I'd like to have wall to wall carpeting instead of little area rugs. Basically, you are an interior designer, working in your cousin's design shop. Customers come in and ask you to design lamp stands, flower vases, etc. Or you might be refinishing a bureau. Or you might be painting a picture for someone's room. Or moving furniture around to make a room more functional. The game is very detail oriented (which is nice). You get to work a potter's wheel to make vases and lamp stands. Overall....I like this game....and I think kids who are interested in interior design would like this game also....but I would recommend buying it used if you can.
