Cheapest Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure

I bought this along with several other educational games for my kids. They love their DS's and thought it would be great instead of just adventure games. I tried most of their games and have thoroughly enjoyed them but this one, I was ready to turn it off right after the first 'mission'. I will let my kids try it this afternoon but I am not impressed. It is so difficult to navigate and you spend more time trying to get around in the game than thinking of math problems. Bought Bookworm and loved it. Simple, to-the-point, and you can concentrate on making words. Not this, too much time trying to navigate the goofy thing. If kids don't like, will be returning it today.Get more detail about Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure.

Cheap Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution III

Bought this about two weeks ago and it's off the hook. I've been waiting since the gamecube days to pick up a Naruto fighting game, but there have always been some described shortcomings in each. Finally we reach this game and still this trend is present. Though the game is loaded with characters and other unlockables, some aspects of this game are still lagging. Lag, actually in itself is one problem, which occurs without fail during online matches and occasionally when there's too many characters on the screen. Also the graphics don't seem to have improved much from game to game. In the scheme of things, these problems are minimal, but sit as a representation of what this game could have been. Perhaps the next installment will fix these problems, but for now, we do have this awesome game to enjoy. Don't get the wrong impression here, there is soooo much still to enjoy in this title and as the first reviewer said, it's extremely addictive. If you're an avid Naruto fan with a Wii, picking this game up is obviously a no-brainer. Even if you're just looking for a unique and exceptionally fun fighter, this is it.Get more detail about Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution III.

Buy Disney Hannah Montana Mattel DVD Game

This was not a very entertaining game at all. My 7 yr old daughter loves the show but the game was not very exciting at all. We played it once and she never touched it again. Even the first time she struggled to stay interesed. We like to play games at our house but this is not one worth giving away.Get more detail about Disney Hannah Montana Mattel DVD Game.

Where To Buy Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Anyone who is a true video game junky knows that there is one written-in-stone, undeniable rule when it comes to video games that are based on movies.

They suck. Not only do they suck...they suck like a transvestite prostitute at a Hell's Angels rally. They suck like a court-appointed attorney. They suck worse than St. Louis style pizza. They suck worse than an animal shelter owned by Michael Vick. They suck worse than Chicago.

Well...okay, it's hard to suck as bad as Chicago. At least no video game based off a movie was ever home to the worst politicians EVER.

This game shatters that rule. It not only shatters it...it obliterates it.

The gameplay is actually innovative and fun. I had a bit of trouble at first figuring things out (the game didn't tell me how to deploy a trap...or at least I didn't see or hear it) but it has a little guide book to help you if you go into your menu. There's research to be done (although it's hard to get a scan of a creature on the PKE meter when it's throwing a bus at your head). It's neat to zap ghosts and feel like a real Ghostbuster like when I was a kid. I grew up watching the Ghostbusters and remember how excited I was when they released Ghostbusters 2.

Which brings me to what makes this game shine brighter than any star in the sky...the story and voice acting.

You have the ORIGINAL Ghostbusters voicing their characters from the movie. Bill Murray is fantastic (of course), Dan Akroid is absolutely hilarious as usual, Harold Ramis absolutely rocks the character of Egon with his usual intellectual wit, and Ernie Hudson returns with the straight-faced "I didn't see no ghost" one-liners. Every. Single. Scene. Had my girlfriend and I laughing out loud.

That's the important thing about this game...it feels like it wasn't made to sell to as many people as possible, it was made for the fans of the original Ghostbusters as a way for Murray, Akroid, Ramis, and Hudson to say "Thanks, everyone".

I honestly view this game as a gift for my years of watching, quoting, and stopping on a channel that happens to be showing the Ghostbusters movies to grin because I know the funny part is coming up next.

"GET HER!"

That was great, Ray. "Get her". Real scientific.

"I just panicked..."

"Ray...if someone asks you if you're a god...you say YES!"

"THE FLOWERS...ARE STILL...STANDING!"

"Must have been some cockroach..."

"It'll bite your head off, man."

If you don't know the movies...and quite possibly if you didn't GROW UP with the movies and cartoons then you probably won't "get" this game. You'll play it and maybe rate it as average or slightly above average.

If you, however, ate, slept, and breathed everything Ghostbuster and can answer the question "Who you gonna call!?" in less than a second and with GUSTO then this game will have you looking around with a feeling of creepyness one second and then crying with laughter the next and then RIGHT back to jumping out of your skin and madly flailing around with your proton beam.

Back to the game as I'm getting off on a nostalgic rant. There are bonus items in the form of "Cursed Artifacts" to collect. There are ghosts to read about by scanning them and entering them into your Tobin's Spirit Guide. There are also "power ups" to buy to improve your equipment and a running total of damage caused to all of the locations you visit.

If you, your children, spouse, best friend, or your pet are a fan of the Ghostbusters then you owe it to yourself to get this game. I have a half played copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 sitting in the video game drawer that is seeing little playtime because I am now taking a trip down memory lane with the guys with nuclear accelerators on their backs.

So I'll say it loud and say it proud as I aim for the flat-top!

"Bustin' makes me feel GOOD!"

Ricochet Xtreme [Game Download] Review

This game isn't exactly on the cutting edge of new technology, but its a pretty decent game. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Wireless Bundle Top Quality

I bought GH3 as an intro into the series. I had played GH2 and was interested and after seeing the game and set for such a good price on Amazon I thought I might as well give it a try. I found the controller to work fine with no issues turning on and controlling my PS3. The game itself contains a good mix of music from several eras. I was not too found of the boss battles and the last one is particularly cheesy, no matter how good you are if you don't happen to get the right notes you can't win. That said for the price you get the game and controller and hour and hours of fun so its hard to pass. I have also used this controller for GH Metallica with no problem or issue. It was a great intro and had I not liked it I wasn't out very much. Now being a fan of the series I am ready to upgrade but I am glad I started with GH3. If you are contemplating taking a plunge into the series and have never played it, this is a great place to start. Get more detail about Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Wireless Bundle.

Ear Force X41 Digital RF Wireless Game Audio+ Chat with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Buy Now

If you want to chat with friends, do not buy these. If loud cracking and popping at random times bothers you(even at low volume), do not purchase the X41 system.

The sound quality (when not cracking and popping loudly) is good. However, when chatting with friends they cause major feedback and echoing for your friends. I had to use the original xbox headset at the same time as the X41 system (with one ear to the X41 and one ear to the original xbox headset), which completely nullifies the reason for purchasing this system. Also, the "auto-adjust" on volume was horrible. There were times I could not hear friends over the sound of the game (MW2); and then, all of the sudden, they would be too loud (not to mention they couldn't even listen to me because of echoing and feedback).

Basically, if you have to have wireless headphones and you are only going to be playing by yourself (not chatting with anyone in game) and you don't mind loud cracking and popping (even when you aren't plugged into the controller), then these overpriced sub-par headphones are what you're looking for.Get more detail about Ear Force X41 Digital RF Wireless Game Audio+ Chat with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound.

LeapFrog Leapster® Learning Game: Scholastic Get Puzzled Order Now

I have a toddler who will be three at the end of the year. She's pretty fast at picking up games and out-grew her LittleLeaps DVD game sets early this year. So I bought her the Leapster when I saw it on sale for 30 bucks a few months ago. It came with two games pre-loaded; the coloring/drawing game and the Bunny game where he has to cross the river by jumping logs. At first she just liked seeing what happened when the bunny jumped into the water... so she lost interest in it and only colored with the other game. So last week I bought this game, which is geared for K-2nd grade and she LOVES it!! Because there are so many different games and each game has simple levels she's able to play level 1 on most of them and especially loves the monster game and About Face which she has no problem following the simple instructions. I know the math and advanced levels of the word games are beyond her at this point, but she still likes to get the "sticks" to be the same hight, or click on the letters in the word find box... It's great that she has something that will grow with her now!Get more detail about LeapFrog Leapster® Learning Game: Scholastic Get Puzzled.

We bought these for our 8yr old son and he is not a huge fan. Although they do function as advertised, they are unwieldy and don't add anything to the game experience for him. Lowest Price Active Life Outdoor Challenge

I bought this last week for myself as an early Christmas gift to supplement the workouts I do on Wii Fit. I used it for the first time yesterday and woke up today with some SORE muscles from the amazing cardio workout I got! I'm 42 and know that as soon as I let my kids have a try, they will blow away my high scores on everything I've done, but for now, I'm the queen :) They probably will be able to coordinate their feet better than I have, I tend to find myself slowly jumping off of the mat during jumping games, since I'm looking at the tv, not my feet. But I know with more practice, I'll improve.

I love that you can use your own Mii to play the games, but the Mii is beefed up with cool clothes and shoes and the Mii body changes based upon what game you're playing (it moves more like you're moving, rather than a cartoon).

Lots of fun games that not only require a lot of cardio exercise, but some of them require teamwork in order to win - if you don't work with your partner, you'll both fail.

It's a very different workout, but definitely one that will bring results if you keep at it - and you get to have fun at the same time.

My only concern is the mat seems on the cheap side, I worry that it won't hold up in the long run.Get more detail about Active Life Outdoor Challenge.

Save Playground

We've had this game for about a year and, at first, all the reading annoyed me. My daughter constantly wanted help with what the game was telling her. HOWEVER, once you read everything once, you don't have to read it again. She cared about what they were saying because she's old enough to really want to play it right. I was worried about letting my younger nephews play (aged 2-7) because of all the reading but they don't care at all what it says. They just click click click through to the games. The mini-games are fun. Navigating to each game gets a little tedious but the kids all really seem to enjoy it. I'd say this game is good for ages 2-10/11. Get more detail about Playground.

Cheapest DS Lite Nerf Armor - Dark Blue/White

This has been on my sons ds lite for a year. Now I want to sell the DS Lite and I am trying to remove from the case.. I read this a long time ago and I see it it true. It is almost impossible to remove with doing damage to the DS itself or destroying the Nerf case. I will have to be cut off. Because of the I will lower my rating. My son DS lie has one of the rare pokemon special addition prints that I would like to show when selling so I don't a a single scratch on it. Now I can't offer the case in the sale because it has to be cut off. I will look for other protective casees in the future because of this.

Other wise I have seen several claims regarding this unit smelling. Sounds crazy. Case serves it's purpose.

******UPDATE. AFTER WRITING THIS REVIEW I WENT BACK TO TRYING TO REMOVE CASE. FOUND SITE WHERE A GUY DESCRIBES HOW HE DID IT. I TRIED HIS METHOD AND I JUST CRACKED THE TOP OF THE DS LITE. (not his fault) THE HINGE BROKE ON THE DS LITE RIGHT OFF IN MY HAND. IT IS RUINED! I will not buy another Nerf case again. NO MATTER WHAT. I do not recomemmend this product. Impossoble to remove without damage. The ds i was selling to offset the price of the new dsi is worthless now. Get more detail about DS Lite Nerf Armor - Dark Blue/White.

Buy Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp

I purchased Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp in the hopes of finding a good game for the Wii that let me enjoy riding around on a horse. I had low expectations to start with, but found the game to be better than I imagined. It has enough direction to allow you to progress through the quests relatively easily, yet it also allows you to ride around with no set goal. This game is recommended mainly for the target audience of young girls. However, I think it has enough elements to warrant a play-through for those looking for an open-ended horse riding game. Just be aware that its playability is limited: Once you finish the game, there really is little else to do.

POSITIVES
- The amount of open space available to ride around in is very varied and vast.
- The controls require some getting used to, but are relatively straight forward after mastering them.
- There are many side quests throughout the game, adding to the content.
- The customization options are limited, but should appeal to many players.

NEGATIVES
- The graphics are not very good, even for the Wii.
- Many of the activities require a simple button click, rather than actual actions with the Wii remote.
- Some parts of the game can be tedious and too repetitive.
- The main storyline appears to be too simple at times, and makes the game seem too easy.
- The voice acting can get annoying and repetitive.

Overall, I would say that the game lives up to what it is advertised as, and does not offer too much more. Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp does not disappoint, but expect an average game designed to entertain younger players. Good luck!Get more detail about Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp.

Where To Buy Guitar Hero 5 Stand Alone Software

Huge guitar hero fan here, so this maaay be biased.

Yes, the load time between songs does take a while. That's the only thing that bugs me, but I've figured out my own little way of not caring about that anymore. I distract myself by checking little things on the internet, or play another game on my computer while waiting for GH to load. It doesn't take forever though, maybe 2 minutes max load time between songs.

What I do love though are the song choices this time. There are some songs that I really love to play again and again. This time they seem to have picked songs that are way more fun to sing as well. I know a lot more songs for a change and actually like most of them :) I've never popped in a brand new guitar hero and knew right away which songs I wanted to play.

Favorites:
Sublime - "What I Got" (honestly couldn't wait for them to use this song. Love playing/singing it)
Stevie Wonder - "Superstition"
Rolling Stones - "Sympathy for the Devil"
Garbage - "Only Happy When It Rains"
3 Doors Down - "Kryptonite"
A Perfect Circle - "Judith"
Billy Squier - "Lonely is the Night"
Blur - "Song 2"
Bob Dylan - "All Along the Watchtower"
Bon Jovi - "You Give Love A Bad Name"
David Bowie - "Fame"
Deep Purple - "Woman From Tokyo ('99 Remix)"
Duran Duran - "Hungry Like The Wolf"
Gorillaz - "Feel Good Inc."
John Mellencamp - "Hurts So Good"
Johnny Cash - "Ring of Fire"
Queen & David Bowie - "Under Pressure"
The Police - "So Lonely"
The White Stripes - "Blue Orchid"

So overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked the newest Guitar Hero :)Get more detail about Guitar Hero 5 Stand Alone Software.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

Well, I bought this game at Wal-mart today because I didn't feel like waiting for it.
I have to say, at first, I was very pleased with it. I figured it was going to be pretty much the same as
the SNES version. Well, I was wrong. It far surpasses the SNES version. Every-time I thought it was the end, more
games kept popping up. I was able to perfect my file the same day I got it but, it was hard to do and this game has excellent re-play value. It would take any normal gamer at least a couple days to perfect. I'm not bragging, it's just that I had to play it non-stop until 2 in the morning... Not to mention I'm quite fast at these types of games. Anyway, I'd like to do a mini review on each of the different games. First, the ones from the SNES version.

Spring Breeze - This is the same as the SNES version pretty much. 3 levels and then a fight with King Dedede.

Dyna Blade - Again, the same as on the SNES. 4 different levels (2 secret item levels) and a fight with Dyna Blade.

The Great Cave Offensive - Another one from the SNES Version. One giant level with 60 hidden treasures to find.

Gourmet Race - From SNES, more like a mini-game where you race King Dedede in 3 races and try and get the most food.

Revenge of Metaknight - Another one from SNES, a timed adventure on an exploding ship. Metaknight waits at the end.

Milky Way Wishes - Last one from the SNES and perhaps my favorite. In this game, the enemies don't give you powers, instead, you need to find special ability trophies. Once you find them, anytime you want, you can have that power for unlimited use. Soar across 7 different planets, gather special abilities, and defeat Marx at the end.

Now, here are the new ones, special to the "Ultra" version.

Revenge of the King - This is like an extension of Spring Breeze. The levels are a bit more dark and mysterious.
The bosses are also harder and different looking.

Meta Knightmare Ultra - This is quite a long one. It's split up into 5 parts. Those five part are all from the SNES games shown above minus Gourmet Race. In this game, you play as Metaknight as have special abilities. In the touch screen, there is a sword shown with 4 special abilities. To use them, Metaknight needs to defeat enemies to store power in the sword. The sword's number goes up to 50 and each normal enemy gives about 2-3.

Special Abilities:

Knight Call - Calls up a "Swordy" partner to fight along side Mightknight until his HP reaches 0. Costs 2 points.
Meta Quick - Speeds Metaknight up for a short period of time. Costs 8 points.
Heal - Fully heals Metaknight and his partner (if one is present). Costs 10 points.
Mach Tornado - Defeats all enemies in the screen. Also does major damage to bosses. Costs 30 points.
------
The Arena - This one is part of the SNES version but because it's coupled with the new version, I'll put it here.
The Arena was one of my favorite things back in the SNES version. It's a game where you fight every boss in the game (19) in a row with a short break to heal or get a special ability (5 max tomatoes and 2 random ability options per boss). In the very beginning, before you fight your first boss, you have your choice of any ability in the game (with some exceptions like Blast Kirby and Mic Kirby). Marx is waiting for you if you can reach the end.

The True Arena - This is the new version. Compared to this, The normal Arena is easy. This one only features 10 bosses but they are much harder than the previous ones. These are the new bosses from the new Kirby. It's pretty much the same as the normal arena except for a few deadly differences... First, instead of Max tomatoes to heal you, you now have normal tomatoes (only heal about 1/6th of max health). To add to that, the special ability selection is now down to one per match (technically there is a second but it's always a "sleep" ability). I don't even want to talk about the last boss in this arena...

Helper to Hero - In this game, you play as a helper that you choose. If you haven't played Superstar yet, a helper is someone Kirby can summon to help him in battle. They resemble the normal enemies you face through-out the game. This one is quite fun actually. There are 13 bosses to face and you only have one ability to use.
Anytime you clear it with one of the twenty helpers, you get a pretty little coin attached to verify that you beat it with that helper.

That's pretty much it except for the mini-games. I was actually a little depressed that the old mini-games weren't in this version because I really liked those. Well, once again it surprised me... They actually are on the game, it just takes a while to unlock them. Here they are along with the new ones.

Megaton Punch - One of the two from SNES. In this simple, yet entertaining mini-game, two players stand on two blocks of some sort of platform (concrete probably) and are given three timing challenges. The first one is a red bar that goes up and down. Hit it at the very top and it turns white. Second is two bulls-eye-like targets spinning in a circle. Match them up perfectly and they turn white. And finally the third one is similar to a pendulum rocking back and forth in front of this small circle. Match it up and it'll turn white. Depending on how you did, a star-like planet will split by the accuracy of the challenges. Match them all up perfectly and crack the planet it two. This is actually quite hard to do and I've probably only done it like 10-15 times.

Samurai Kirby - The second of the two from SNES. This is basically a reflex game with three difficulty levels.
Kirby and another enemy are facing each other, being very still... As soon as you see the marks you need to press the A button as fast as you can. If you do it before the marks appear, you'll get an X, get two X's and you lose. There is a sign that starts counting up very fast. The fastest time on the hardest difficulty, I think was 8.
I got a 0 a couple of times before, but I'm pretty sure it was just luck.

Here are the new ones...

Kirby Card Swipe - In this one, there are a number of cards shown face down. They are flipped up and all players can see them. A few seconds after, in the top screen, a picture is shown. The first player to match up the correct card, wins the first round. Once someone wins 3 rounds they are the winner.

Kirby on the Draw - Targets pop up randomly and players are awarded points depending on what they shoot. If a player shoots a bomb target points are reduced. Players have 8 shots to start with, to reload, the player must tap the bottom of the touch screen where the arrows are located. Obviously, the one with the most points wins.

Snack Tracks - The last of the mini-games. In this one, the Kirbies are lined up with a conveyor belt to their mouths. The goal is to get as much food into Kirby's mouth as possible. The only thing the player must do it tap the worms, bombs, and worms in maximum tomatoes to get rid of them and to make sure Kirby doesn't eat them. Also, rocks are present in harder difficulties. The player must tap them twice to rid them of the conveyor belt.

I think that just about covers the game. Other that what's listed above, a few extras include the Theater with 35 of the video clips through-out the game as well as the Sound Test (also in SNES) that includes all of the past and present music and sound effects.

Overall, I would highly recommend this game to anyone with a DS, especially Kirby fans.

Nintendo Wii Enhanced Performance Kit Top Quality

I was looking for an extra Nyko Charge Station since I already have one for two Wii remotes and I needed another charger for my other two. Looked around at other stores, they were selling the charger for about the same price as the Nyko Performance Kit that comes with a sensor bar (wireless the best part) and component cables that make my games look so much better. I love the charge station and every store I go to recommends the Nyko one. As for the sensor bar, I have my LCD on my wall and with this I do not have any wires running down from my TV and seems to work as well as Nintendo's wired sensor bar. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade their Wii or just bought a Wii because you will turn out to need these things especially the charger.Get more detail about Nintendo Wii Enhanced Performance Kit.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 This instant

I bought this game expecting to play as my hero from one of the year's greatest movies. I was disappointed. Why did they leave out Randy The Ram? I mean, who else in the game has this kind of back story? During his match you could have had Marissa Tomei in a cut scene where she begs him not to wrestle. He's fighting a life-battle against death, people!

"When you live hard and you play hard and burn the candle at both ends... in this life, you can lose everything you love, everything that loves you. A lot of people told me that I'd never wrestle again, they said "he's washed up", "he's finished" , "he's a loser", "he's all through". You know what? The only ones gonna tell me when I'm through doing my thing, is you people here. You people here... you people here. You're my family."

He's just an old broken down piece of meat and you programmers left him out. John Cena's movie was not as touching. It seems like he's living on easy street with his pretty wife and a roof over his head. I wish you guys had the same heart this warrior had.Get more detail about WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010.

Littlest Pet Shop Friends: Country Immediately

My 11-year old sister loves Littlest Pet Shop. I think she is too old for it, but then again I am in no hurry for her to mature either and they are adorable little animals! A few weeks ago I wrote a post about the New Littlest Pet Shop Friends game and Littlest Pet Shop Online. When my sister saw that I received the New Littlest Pet Shop Friends "Country" to review, she was beyond excited! She opened it and put it in her Nintendo DS faster than I could ask her if she wanted to play it!

Littlest Pet Shop Country Friends is not just a game where you tae care of animals, it is jam packed with mini-games, dress up, and actually has a task to accomplish! The point of the game is to get your pets ready for a big celebration, so you have to deliver invitations, pick up food, and explore towns. The cool part of this game is that you can play two-player multi-player via a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection (unfortunately we weren't able to try this feature out.)

Your child may think they know all the Littlest Pet Shop pets, but Country Friends contains six exclusive country pets to collect! I think my favorite part was styling my pets, as I always loved dress up and accessories! My sisters was exploring and the mini-games. Now I have never played a Littlest Pet Shop game before so I don't have anything to compare this to, but I think the game is cute and fun. It is perfect for any Littlest Pet Shop fan and really for all ages. There are also a few other versions of the Littlest Pet Shop Friends Collection that include: City and Beach. All of the Littlest Pet Shop Friends games feature new pets to play with, enjoy, and have a story line.

I received this game to review it but this opinion is 100% mine. Get more detail about Littlest Pet Shop Friends: Country.

Press Your Luck Best Quality

Press Your Luck was always one of my favorie old game shows and I was so excited to see a Wii game based on the show and ordered it right away. As soon as the game was delivered we opened it and started to play, we played one game and were so bored we have never played it again!! It was absolutely horrible, I would not recommend this game at all, I should have rented it first!Get more detail about Press Your Luck.

Yoga Order Now

Like the others, I was so excited when I saw this game. I waited for it to be released and jumped to get it. Boy am I sorry. The graphic stink, the sound is terrible and the game is not well though out. If you are new to Yoga poses how are you suppose to be watching the TV (which for me is mounted above the fireplace), do Downward Facing Dog and see when you are suppose to move to the next pose..much less watch HOW to get into the next pose.

I think the only time this game would be worth while is if you already know what you are doing.Get more detail about Yoga.

Animal Planet: Vet Life Decide Now

I bought this for my daughter, and she completed it in half an hour and has not gone back to it. I was pretty disappointed, I thought there would be more to do in the game, rather than the same things over and over once you have done everything. Get more detail about Animal Planet: Vet Life.

Wii Fit Right now

I think the Wii Fit is a lot of fun and an easy way to get some exercise without realizing you really are! It's easy to figure out how each "exercise" works, has a decent amount of choices and levels and can be used by just about anybody (although it does bore my kids pretty quickly). The only downside I had with it is the length of time to set it up ~ there are SO many questions to get through in the beginning to get to the actual exercise part. In the end, it makes sense and is good to see your progress - just takes some time initially to get started. Get more detail about Wii Fit.

Lowest Price Ghostbusters: The Video Game

For anyone who is a hardcore fan of the Ghostbusters, you don't need a review; just buy the game. You'll enjoy it regardless of any faults it may or may not have.

For everyone else, approach this one with some caution.

I've found the game play can be tedious and boring at times. Load time is kind of slow when you have to reload a checkpoint. And you will be reloading checkpoints given how difficult it can be to track some of the ghosts.

I can't tell you how many times I've had my proton beam trained on a ghost, only to have one of the other members of the team yell at ME for crossing streams, when in reality they began firing on the enemy AFTER I did.

There is no co-op option for the campaign. The only co-op options are to play in the multiplayer part of the game and it's not a complete campaign. You play one off missions with no story to them per say.

Graphics are good. Some of the lip synching, both in game and in cut scenes, is off.

Bringing back the original actors for voice overs? Great idea in theory. In practice, most of these people are real actors and seem to struggle to find an emotional range when simply reading lines. And yes, there are times when it feels like all they are doing is reading off of the script with little to no emotion involved. They do an OK job, but not what I had been hoping for.

I find constantly switching beams for the proton pack, while novel in the beginning, also very tedious. Having to scan ghosts for the Tobin Spirit Guide? Again, a nice touch to include the guide, but the actual implementation is obnoxious. You will find that instead of playing the game in real color, you will instead spend most of your time using the PKE meter where everything appears more like one of those silly ghost shows where they have night vision setup. I don't want to play a game with a sort of creepy atmosphere not immersed in said atmosphere. What the developers strove for, a convincing and scary environment in certain situations, is rendered meaningless when you're playing the game with night vision.

The game has its moments. It is definitely the best Ghostbusters video game ever released. Of course, when you look back on the video game history of the series, that isn't really all that great of an accomplishment.

If you can get the game for $20 it is worth the money. If you're a fan of the franchise, just buy it no matter the price. Those looking for a lot of fun in a game for the current $40 MSRP would be better served looking elsewhere.Get more detail about Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Low Price Deal or No Deal

I purchased this game for my wii since I like the game show, I think the graphics need more improvement the host and the models are very choppey and square shaped in comparison to other games. Other than that it's o.k if you like the show.Get more detail about Deal or No Deal.

Cheapest MadWorld

It seems like this round of console's most family friendly unit, the Wii, is getting some of the most gruesome games period. 2007's Manhunt 2 was pretty macabre, and last year's No More Heroes had you spilling buckets of blood and guts, but Platinum Games' Madworld one ups pretty much every game out there in terms of its satisfyingly brutal bloodshed. It's not a flawless game, but MadWorld is a thoroughly entertaining romp that Wii owner who are not faint of heart should definitely check out.

The story in MadWorld follows a sick sort of gladiatorial game called Death Watch. You play as a newcomer to the games, Jack. The story is pretty ridiculous, and not very interesting, but where the game truly shines is its humor, especially from Death Watch's two announcers, who had me laughing out loud through most of the game.

The gameplay is fairly standard fare for a Wii action game. You'll use the A and B buttons to perform basic attacks on enemies, and use various objects in the environment in combination with motion controls to perform some more complicated, and brutal attacks. But the name of the game in MadWorld is combos. Sure dicing an enemy up with a single swipe of Jack's handy chainsaw arm can net you some quick points, but when you string basic moves with the environmental attacks, and then end with one of the game's ridiculous finishers, you start rolling in the points.
Jack will even take a break from on foot carnage to enjoy some motorcycle manslaughter. These sequences, while refreshing, aren't really very polished, and definitely could've used some touching up.
While some might fear repetition after a while, MadWorld's gory mini games found in each level will keep things fresh. Every activity from playing "Man Darts" to splatting guys against the moon by hitting them with a golf club is worryingly hilarious, and simply a lot of fun.
MadWorld's gameplay also benefits greatly from its numerous bosses and mini-bosses, who serve as a refreshing break from the standard grunts, and lead to some pretty intense fighting. Not to mention that the finishers you get to pull on them are downright badass.

Obviously one of the huge draws of MadWorld is its unique graphical design. Every thing is black and white except for the blood red...er...blood. It's not exactly easy on the eyes, but it's definitely cool that the developers were willing to do something so risky. Some will love it, some will hate it, but all can admit there's nothing else quite like it in the realm of video games.

The sound department is excellent, the game has great sound effects, and a pretty awesome score of original rap songs, not to mention the pure awesomeness that are the Death Watch announcers (played by renowned voice actors Greg Proops and John DiMaggio.)

MadWorld doesn't last very long, only 5-6 hours, but it's definitely the kind of game you'll want to come back to if just to relive some of the ridiculous boss fights. It's also worth noting the game has a multiplayer mode, in which you and a friend compete in the various mini games seen in the game's story mode, but it's really not all that great.

MadWorld looks and sounds like nothing you've ever played before. Unfortunately it plays like a lot of games you've played before. But that's not all bad. While it is short, and can get repetitive, ultimately the insane action and awesome production values make MadWorld a game that's definitely worth adding to the mature Wii owner's library.Get more detail about MadWorld.

Cheap Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

This game has good graphic and gameplay. There is a lot of customization. You get to customize your skills, customs and your light saber. The way you use the force is splendid. Overall you get the original Force Unleash plus a lot of additional new content. You can play four different stories. Overall a great deal. The sequel is coming soon. Buying Guitar Hero World Tour

Where else can you jam to eye of the tiger, and battle ted nugent? No place else, but Guitar Hero World Tour. I'm really not into having a 'Career' in the game or playing 'gigs' of songs i've never heard so there are a lot of features that don't interest me... but this game is fun for all levels and types of people. It seemed like i had to play a few gigs to unlock the beauty that is 'La Bamba' so that was a pain, but i'm now fluent in latin-rock so not entirely bad.

The only downside is the incompatibility between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but that is an overall franchise issue for the Wii, and not a knock on this game.

Slam some beers, rock out... it's that easy.Get more detail about Guitar Hero World Tour.

Purchase WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010

What can i say its another svr game it has its good and bad about it sometimes the bad outweigh the good but its still a fun game to play with friends and if you dont have friends to play with then the game can get boring fast because the online players are horrible because there all Clones with the same moves Gore and Spike Head butt and other specials for regular moves. The Sd games were at there best when it was exclusive to PS and if Yukes and THQ would just build off HCTP and other awesome titles they did before the svr and multi platform stuff started we would have a pretty awesome game by now and probably years before also testing the games for bugs and glitches before release would be great and if they dont have time which is ridiculous then they should run a patch on the things that they didn't catch. All in all what im saying is the svr games are good that's about it single player is cool but there are limitations and online without friends is no fun so if i were you i would rent this and next years.Get more detail about WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010.
