For those gamers out there who know and love Bioware games, this one will not disappoint you, particularly if you like science fiction and thought provoking types of games or movies.

Having gone over the positive aspects of this game, I should say that the flaws it has are pretty inconsequential. One of them is the DRM method. While this game does employ a method of DRM that can give a person quite a hassle, this can be avoided for those who dislike such invasive DRM measures (SecuROM, and similar DRM methods) by simply playing the Steam version of the game since that version doesn't include those invasive DRM programs.

Since I really enjoyed Lego Star Wars, I was pretty excited to see the release of Lego Indiana Jones. While the Lego video games don't necessarily have the greatest level design, I can't deny the fact I find these games incredibly fun. The fact that you can co-op through these games makes it all the more fun.

Indiana Jones was an excellent trilogy to bring in Lego format. Though since they've progressed with this stuff... I kind of want to see a Lego Aliens/Predator series; I think that would be amazing! Anyway, experiencing Indy in Lego format was great fun. Basically if you've gone through the Lego Star Wars stuff then you already know the name of the game. Playing the game in Story Mode can actually be pretty difficult, even for two people. Once you're done that you get the chance to go through the game in Free Play, and for me, this is where the game really shines. You get to use an array of different characters and you get to explore the maps for lost treasures and other hidden items. I don't know what it is about doing this, but I find it incredibly fun. I think the Lego games are a nice break from the usual fairly serious games I play like Half Life 2 or Mass Effect for example.

Some of the levels are a bit frustrating, but I've come to expect that when dealing with Lego developed games. They also hide some of these items very well, so they are quite a challenge to find. The hours of game play you get out of this makes it rather worthwhile in my opinion.

I really don't have much to say on this game other than if you've already got experience with Lego Star Wars, you know what to expect. If this is your first Lego game, don't get too frustrated, they don't make the puzzles completely obvious. In the end I had a lot of fun; however, I still wouldn't rank these types of games as the top games ever made. First of all, I'd like to say that I've been a fan of Sonic since Christmas of 1991 and have been a fan of the franchise throughout the 90's. Sonic Unleashed, like the other Sonic games that have broken into the "3D" generation of game consoles, is really unpleasant.

The graphics are pretty nice and the whole thing with Sonic becoming a "Werehog" and going around slashing and punching bad guys is pretty fun, but that's all there is to say that's positive about this game.

While it may seem unfair to target this particular Sonic game for this upcoming flaw, but I feel it's legit. The biggest problem with this game is the 3D environment. Sorry, but I truly feel that Sonic wasn't meant for a 3D environment since it's extremely difficult to move really fast while collecting as much rings as possible in this type of environment since it's much easier to die and since it's easy to veer off your desired path, it's much harder to collect rings. While most video games in the last 8-10 years have done away with the "limited life" system so ubiquitous in the first three game console generations, it's still in this game and it gets on your nerves because you're gonna die A LOT.

The tallying system at the end of each level really gets on my nerves because in the "classic" Sonic games, the tallying system just tallied your numeric score and if you got a high score, you'd get a continue. However, the tallying system in Sonic Unleashed is atrocious because the game expects you to accomplish much more difficult levels in a timely manner and has the nerve to actually grade you (using letters A through F) at the end. Isn't it good enough that I came out alive? Just give me a numeric score, don't grade me like a strict university professor.

Aside from the 3D layout and harsh tallying system, I was stuck on one level where you're on top of the Tornado (piloted by Tails, of course) and Eggman has launched a giant robot thingy firing guided bombs at you. I DETEST this level because in order to shoot down the incoming bombs, each projectile is targeted with an icon of either the A, B, X, or Y buttons above them and you have to press the right button in a really short time in order to fire the missiles. This is horrendous because you're in such a panic, you're just mashing buttons, hoping that you hit the right ones since you don't have any time to think. Wouldn't it be more convenient if there was just one button to fire missiles or just have a machine gun and point it at the projectiles? At that point, I quit playing and returned the copy to Family Video.

After playing this and the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog games, it's no surprise to me as to why the newer Sonic games aren't so popular among gamers and critics alike. Sonic Team should really take their cue from Nintendo concerning the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game and make a game that's essentially a "throwback" of the Genesis Sonic games because those are the Sonic games people tend to remember in a positive way. It has been awhile since she played it because she prefers smartgirl's playhouse because it's so much easier for her to figure out. But I seem to remember that there were some parts in this game where you have to read the instructions. I could be remembering wrong though. But I do remember that she got very frustrated with several of the games.....they were too hard for her because of having to be pretty precise with tracing drawings, and having to be coordinated enough to move back and forth with the keypad to predict where a fruit is going to fall and hit it on a pillow once or twice to get it in a basket. There were other games that she was frustrated with. She actually cried with this game. And she yelled and screamed. She got very frustrated, and now if I ask her if she wants to play it, she says no.

The destruction is present in the multiplayer, so if someone is camping from inside a house, you can just blow the house up with a tank, C4, RPG or helicopter.

There are two game-modes, Rush and Conquest. In Rush you are trying to destroy a pair of objectives while the other team defends.

In Conquest you capture control points, and whichever team has the majority of the control points will cause the other team to lose their reinforcements. Its complicated to explain, but let me tell you, it is very, very fun.

Overall Battlefield: Bad Company is a great experience for both the singleplayer and multiplayer. I have spent over 75 hours playing the multiplayer and have loved every minute of it.Get more detail about Battlefield: Bad Company.

I always try to collect new cards, but I always get the same cards. And the roster is also sort of boring. We have played nearly every game on Game party 3 and so far have not had any problems with the controls. I had originally purchased the original Game Party when it had come out and found it enjoyable for what it is. These are nice games to sit down with friends and family and play together, the graphics aren't amazing but the game in itself is enjoyable, and this version has a lot included. I gave my original Game Party to a friend that really liked it since this edition has all of the games included from the other previous editions- which I think is a good value.

I've bought madden since they first came around back in the early 90s. Recent years, I commited to only buying a copy if my team wins the superbowl... and what do ya know... BOOM! Grats Steelers. Previous to that I've been playing Madden 2006 on the Wii.

This game is only a year old, and I feel that they could have gone a lot further in polishing up what they already had from the previous year. As soon as I saw the preview for this game, I knew I HAD to have it! So eventually, my parents got it for me, and I've been addicted to it ever since!

You start out as this girl named Kate, who inherits her father's store, a small little boutique in town. At first, it is very small, but it's a lot of fun to help the customers out. Once you complete your goals, (like selling 5 pastries or helping out the celebrity, Ashley) you'll be offered new ones and your store will slowly expand into more areas, like a jewelery shop, and a flower shop.

While retrieving the the right item for your customers is surprisingly fun, it's even more fun to make your own cakes, perfumes, necklaces, even stuffed animals- and give them to the customer. You have to follow certain instructions, (such as there has to have the color red in it, but it has to be chocolate flavored) but it's still highly customizable, and it's very amusing to come up with strange new combinations. Also, you always get to sign something. You could put your own signature, or you could put "Kate," but I usually draw little pictures.

What's also fun is that you can man the cash register yourself, or have your cashier do it. But I usually do it myself because it's a fun mini-game. Anyway, the customers will also sometimes ask you to wrap up what they bought, and the way you wrap it is surprisingly accurate. It's also fun to choose the paper and the bow. You can also change the floor color, (well, really just the shade: light, medium, or dark of whatever color the floor is) and you choose where to display things.

Also, there's a surprisingly amusing storyline, and you actually have a competitor!

The only drawback is that you are always doing assignments, which means staying in one part of your boutique only, trying to sell a certain item. Yep, no "free mode." But, there is no time limit to complete a task, so I usually just ignore the tasks and do my own thing, since I have already beat the game.

All in all, this is a great game, and by far the best imagine game I've ever played. (And I've played quite a few) So, if your thinking that you shouldn't buy this game because it might not be worth it, take it from me: BUY IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Get more detail about Imagine: Boutique Owner.

The first time I played this game, I was up until 4:30am without even realizing it. It's that absorbing. I beat the adventure mode in a couple of days, but unlike most video games, there's lots more to do after you win in adventure mode. There are "mini-games" that are unlocked as you progress through the levels ("Beghouled" is a hoot). There's the Zen Garden, where you can cultivate plants you win during the game, and sell them in order to buy things like new weapons and power-ups. You can play through the adventure mode again, which becomes more challenging because three plants are picked for you - sometimes sticking you with plants that are of little or no use on a particular level.

I don't think I've ever been as impressed with a game as I am with this one. It's half the price of "real" games, and twice as much fun. I suppose zombie-killing can be considered violent, but it's so cartoony I can't imagine it being a problem, even for little kids. There's a lot of charm and humor in the details - the way the plants and zombies are animated, the notes left by the zombies, etc.

I wasn't expecting much from this game as in the past Batman has not been treated well by the gaming industry.
I am happy to say that in this case they have done it right.

Its not perfect in every way, but no game is.

One thing that did bother me was the speed at which batman walks, which is terribly slow. Now, most of the time you will be running though so its not a big problem. But when you do walk its slow. And the transition from walking to running by pushing a button is a bit on the slow side as well. Truly this is not that big of a deal though.

There are LOTS of Batman Gadgets in this game, some of them you will have to use to progress through the game and some are just there for spice.

Throughout the game, Batmans costume will get cuts in it and the cape will start to look tattered. Now, this isn't like the new Wolverine game where the damage is a direct reflection of what your doing, its more like the farther you get in the game the more withered the costume looks. And each play-through I notice that its the same exact formula. You will see the same cut on your chest in the same place at the same time on a second play-through.

There are a lot of characters in the game and I love how they were treated. The art guys did a great job of making everybody look great and updated. Joker was more of a throwback here and I liked that a lot.

I believe in order to be a good review you need to understand what you will be doing in the game so this next section aims to give you an idea of how the game works.

The game is about combat, stealth, gadgets and puzzles.

Combat
You will find yourself performing many combos and cool moves, which are contextual. What I mean is, lets say your beating on a guy and you have hit him 3 or 4 times and another guy is walking up behind you and starts to attack, you can press Y (I used a 360 pad for the PC) and counter that blow even mid swing on the guy your fighting. This is because the fighting system seems to be built in such a way that it will slow down or speed up things based on how you are fighting.
The combat felt well done and Batman will be performing combos and jumps and counters almost without you doing anything but button mashing. Obviously it will be even better if you learn them, and their aren't many to learn. What you need to learn is how to use them effectively and together.

One thing that is cool is you can be fighting one guy and decide to fight another at any time by aiming the thumb-stick his way and continuing your button mashing and Batman will switch to the character your aiming at and usually do it in a sweet looking fashion. He may, for instance, perform a roundhouse like kick over one enemy and into another.

Stealth
There is a lot of stealth in the game but generally its line of sight and gargoyles. So you can crouch behind walls and such and do takedowns when an enemy walks by and you can use the gargoyles to hide from the other jokers henchmen that will come around to find the guy dead. You can also learn an ability to lower from a gargoyle and string up a guy below it. Its pretty sweet. I found myself waiting for guys just so I could do it every now and then.

Gadgets
The gadgets are fun. From swinging around levels, to unlocking doors, they were all implemented well. I don't want to give to much away, but they all work like they should and I had fun using them.

Puzzles
There are a lot of small puzzles that your going to need to do to get through the game, none of them are hard and most involve your gadgets. Again, don't want to give to much away.

There are some fun boss battles too, none of them are all that hard, they just require that you learn what to do. For instance, one boss fight you may have to dodge his rushing attack and let him hit a wall and get dizzy, then jump on his back and make him hit other things. Again, trying not to give to much away.

All in all I found the game fun. Its very short but offers replayability if you like to collect things as riddler has left you things across the entire game and some of them require gadgets that you don't have at the beginning of the game. There are some areas that you must play back through but the environment has usually changed a bit so its less annoying than some games.

If you like Batman, then this game is a no brainer easily. If your less of a fan, you might try renting it as its short and collecting stuff might not be your forte. Get more detail about Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I have stuck with the NHL 2K series over the last few years because the $19.99 price tag is tough to beat. That being said, I was more than a little disappointed with the transition from 2K9 to 2K10. AI feels the same, controls are identical, announcers repeat most of the same repetitive one-liners from last season, visual appearance is the same, and I think the music took a step back. When I purchase any sports game, I do so with the hope that it will build upon the previous year, move forward, and add a few new features. I don't think that was really the case here. I was disappointed to see that EA abandoned the PS2 this season, so it looks like I'm stuck with a near carbon copy of last year's 2K until I upgrade to PS3 at some point. Ok, this is a review from an old school gamer that absolutely loved this game when it came out in 1991 and was eleven years old. Best game ever at that point and still one of my favorite games of all time. In fact it's the only game in the final fantasy series that i've played dozens of times from start to finish(especially the snes version). That being said, you could say i have an advantage over a newbie to final fantasy games. Wrong!!! This game was completely revamped and bosses tweaked that it was a very different experience in most respects as far as enemy AI and Boss strategies. That being said, I should tell you if you can't beat a boss at all you should go level up right? Wrong again!!! Strategy is the key to this game. Knowing what armors and weapons to use for certain situations will save your butt not just in the random encounters but especially in the boss fights.

If you don't know how to get the most potential out of the augment system you will have a hard time. If you don't distribute your augments intelligently your characters will suck and therefore you will suck. This game is not overly difficult if you know what your doing and plan accordingly.

If the cutscenes bother you... well it could be worse. It could be the godawful cutscenes and characters from Grandia III. Yeah I said it. That game was horrible. For the most part the character voices match the characters quite well. Some cheesy dialogue but redone quite well considering this game came out almost twenty years ago.

Anyways i've made my point. This game is a classic and if it's too hard for you just try different things the game offers and you will soon find you are destroying bosses and random battles with ease.Get more detail about Final Fantasy IV.

I grew up with "Wolfenstein;" I remember playing the demo for the original over and over as a kid, wishing my parents would splurge and buy the actual game. Then, a few years ago, I picked up the PC version of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" at a garage sale; I hadn't played video games much in the years between (just a select few PC games; I haven't owned a game system since Super NES back in grade school), but I knew I had to try "Return." I bought it and was blown away by the graphics and sheer fun.

So, when I recently bought a PS3 to help cure my boredom (God forbid I should do something productive instead), I knew I had to pick up the latest incarnation of "Wolfenstein," aptly titled "Wolfenstein." I was, yet again, blown away. Now, I know these aren't the most fantastic graphics out there; I also bought "Batman: Arkam Asylum," and those graphics blow "Wolfenstein" out of the water. But to discredit "Wolfenstein" for sub-par graphics in today's age of "seen it all played it all" is just splitting hairs. The graphics are good; the graphics are damned good. Playability is fairly easy, though I kept throwing grenades when I wanted to look through my gun sights (my bad); like I said, I haven't used a game controller since Super NES over a decade ago, and I took to it like a fish to water (albeit bullet-filled water).

But you're probably already a gamer of sorts, so let's get to the game itself: The story is so-so. Not bad, could be better. Several levels remind me of "Return" quite a bit (a dig site, some of the house layouts), and the enemy AI isn't all that great. Also, the game ends fairly quickly--I did not know I was playing the final boss until the credits rolled after I beat him.

Still, I highly recommend "Wolfenstein" for anyone who grew up with the game, or anyone who just enjoys a nice, supernatural-fueled first-person shooter. The graphics are good for the genre, and the Veil is a nice additional touch here; it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, and God knows I'd trade it for a pair of .45 pistols and a Tommy gun, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. Take it for what it is: a thrill ride full of Nazis, beasties, and a suspenseful fight on a zeppelin. Yes, a zeppelin.Get more detail about Wolfenstein.

My daughter has been having lots of fun with Band Hero & rated it as a four star game. Once she calibrated the game to our TV, she had more fun with it. She likes the music a lot better than the music that came with her Guitar Hero game. Being a Taylor Swift fan, she says even though there's only 3 Taylor Swift songs included, it's better than none. Another feature she has fun with, is customizing her band.

Speaking from a parent's point of view, the wireless guitar, wired microphone and drums have a nice weight to them, are nicely constructed, & not flimsy. I expect them to last with normal usage. The weight of the drum pedal, along with the non-skid material on the bottom, prevent the pedal from moving around the floor. She hasn't had any problems with the cymbals moving out of position & sits on an ottoman when she plays the drums. I really dont understand all the negativity here against this game. I have played a few other real-time-strategy games and this by far beats all of them hands down with AI, graphics and just the sheer depth of the game itself. I like the amount of planning and strategizing you can do in this game and how any decision you make can have such long lasting consequences down the road.

I enjoyed the control and ralley like exerience that the first Dirt game presented. This game feels too much like an arcade game for me to take seriously. They stripped out a lot of the car set-up controls, and you have to now use the time trials modes to practice on different tracks. This is confusing because the event names don't line up with the course names. I just wish there was a simple practice option before each event, instead of having to guess what track the event will be run on.

The game has also lost a lot of its international flair, and has too many 'x-game' type events.

On the positive side, the graphics are very good, and the logic that controls the replays has been improved, and they are enjoyable to watch.Get more detail about Dirt 2.
